A few years back my friend asks me to watch the movie called The Secret”. It was based on the law of attraction theory. I was not keen to watch the movie, but eventually, I decided to watch that movie to see what I can learn from it. After watching the movie I was completely into the world of dream. I started understanding the power of attraction and positive thinking.

The famous book The Secret describes humans as magnets that attract back whatever thoughts are put out” into the universe. Therefore, if you are looking to change something in your life, all you have to do is change your thoughts and feelings. Beware: thinking about what you don’t want will give you just that. The Law of Attraction does not know the difference between good and bad thoughts. Rather, it gives you what you are thinking about.

If you’re practicing the technique on something bigger, this exercise may be tricky, but use your imagination. If you’re trying to lose weight, go out and buy an outfit that fits the size you’re aiming for. If you want a new car, go to a dealership and shop around. If you’re aiming for something as big as complete financial freedom, start planning what you’re going to do with all that free time and money.

When making these affirmations it is important to stay grounded as to what the goal truly is. For example, simply saying I’m going to meet a wonderful girl/guy” This may give you false confidence or hope which sets you up for failure and will derail any progress you, yourself may have made. But if you state it realistically, as in, I’m going to be more open to meeting women/men” or I’m not going to settle for less than I want”. Again everything has to have boundries and definitions in your head, this is as if not more important than the affirmations themselves.

A lot of people feel stuck by their current circumstances, but that circumstance is only their current reality. They start to feel stuck because they begin to think the same thoughts over and over and over again, so they get the same results over and over and over again. What they don’t know is that they can change their current circumstance if they find a way to approach that bad circumstance through a different vantage point. Nobody can teach someone how to do this, because it’ll be different for every person and every situation, but it all boils down to not letting something change your positive feelings into negative feelings.

rom it and I still have days where I lose hope, but I would say the most important thing when you’re feeling down is to simply try and raise yourself to a slightly better feeling. Keep doing that, until you’re in a place to start imagining what you want… the rest is written in the stars! If you are struggling to find a happier place, a quick and effective way to do it is be grateful. Think of all you are grateful of and it will undoubtedly lift you up.

And thanks for the tips Ludvig. I appreciate that you’re being up-front, and not trying to give me any illusions about what it takes, you probably saved me a lot of time here. I have been doing some research for the past few day about this, and it seems I totally underestimated the learning curve and other stuff required for a so-called serious blog.
